Plein Air painting is what I am most interested in, painting in open air with an easel. I call my style, “New Wave Impressionism” a combination of classic influence of the French Impressionists and a modern live art aesthetic of video games and cartoons.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Jonathan Stemberger graduated from the University of Central Florida (UCF) with a Bachelors in Creative Writing and was awarded the distinction of “Outstanding Poet”. An interest in visual art brought him back to UCF where Stemberger unlocked a passion for Drawing and was told, “drawing is like baking a cake, painting is like putting icing on the cake”.
Stemberger focused on a traditional foundation of drawing before painting for three years. Then chose painting instructors from Crealde School of Art for diversity and specialty in oil paints.
